How do I modify the {metadata} tag?

For questions and problems with the CMS core. This board is NOT for any 3rd party modules, addons, PHP scripts or anything NOT distributed with the CMS made simple package itself.

How do I modify the {metadata} tag?

I need to remove the trailing slash as I'm using HTML not XHTML and it's messing up my validation.

-> Site Admin -> Global Settings ->Global Metadata

Thanks. I figured out that I could just put the base href declaration into my template directly though. ::)
