[solved] File Manager does not create thumbnails on upload

Been bugging me for a while and happens on each installation...

When I upload images (jpg format) using the File Manager a thumbnail is not automatically created. I have Site Admin > Settings - File Manager > "Create thumbnails on upload" set to yes.

When I select a file in File Manager and click "Create thumbnail" a thumbnail is produced OK.

When I upload a file using MicroTiny it creates a thumbnail automatically.

Here's a screenshot, the first 2 images were uploaded using File Manager, the third using MicroTiny.

What would cause File Manager to not create thumbnails on upload?

I just tested and I think there's a minor issue in the preference somewhere.
If you go to the file manager settings, double check everything and hit submit... then thumbs do get displayed for new uploads.

I went to Site Admin > Settings - File Manager and hit Submit without changing anything ("Create thumbnails on upload" is still set to yes).

Thumbnails are now created on upload, so you are right Calguy - thank you.
