LISE search using custom field dropdowns

Post by paulbaker »

I am trying to use LISE with some custom fields, mainly dropdowns, one of which is called Reseller. I want a search form which will show the dropdowns and show matching records.

I see the action="search" option and that produces a text search which searches all fields and works well:
{LISEProducts action="search"}

But I can't see a way of displaying dropdowns in the search form.

I tried this from the help page:
(optional) search_*="" - Search a particular field. You can use 'title' or the alias of a field definition, e.g. search_title. Can be combined with fulltext search. Multiple search_* params can be combined.

Putting various combinations of search_title="", search_Reseller="true" but no luck. I think I am misunderstanding how to call this function.

Anybody?

Thanks :D

I am also facing the same issue which paulbaker has mentioned above. Anyone who can help us would be great.
