cannot connect to mysql database

I have tried a variety of option but cannot get past the mysql credentials page. I have create user in mysql but none of these work. Any suggestions?

Assuming you are installing CMSMS, assuming you are trying to install the latest...
Assuming also that you have read:

Have you created the database?
We need far more info about which steps you are taking, server environment, etc...
