I'm using Ubuntu / Apache2 / MariaDB and version cmsms-2.1.5-install.zip.
The Wikipedia page for CMSMS suggests that developers can import Themes, picking the one that is closest to their needs from a range of downloadable examples, and then fine-tune it.
The default installation without example files has only the default theme. This can only show plain text. Selecting other themes from the list of available ones, such as cssmenu, results in the browser showing only a blank screen. (Firefox 48.0).
The default installation with example files has additional themes, like nCleanBlue. This works fine so I'm guessing there is nothing wrong with my setup or browser.
Perhaps I could export this theme and import it into the other copy of CMSMS that doesn't have any themes in it yet. According to the documentation, to do this requires the Theme Manager. The default installation with examples doesn't have the Theme Manager and it is not in the list of installable modules. So exporting themes is presumably not possible.
The default installation without example files doesn't have the Theme Manager either. So importing themes is similarly not possible.
The CMSMS web site has a list of available downloadable themes. Strangely there are only three 'Editor Recommended' Themes and there are no other themes listed on the web site. The three 'Editor Recommended' Themes do not download. Is it the case that apart from the editor, nobody has uploaded any themes for CMS Made Simple?
Is cmsms-2.1.5-install.zip a buggy version, or am I possibly using a Beta version of the product that isn't yet at stable release? Will Theme Manager be added to 2.1.5 at a later date?
At the risk of offending, am I the only person who can't get CMS Made Simple to do anything? Is it a case of 'The Emperor's New Clothes' or am I just too thick to make sense of how it is supposed to work.
No I won't be offended if you say the problem is me - the error message reading 'defective user at keyboard'. Perhaps I have a high IQ and no common sense.
Thank you in advance for your time. Please point me at the right place to find out how to download and add a theme to 2.1.5.

Re: Theme Manager Missing from 2.1.5
In CMSMS 2.0 the ThemeManager functionality was merged in with the DesignManager. You can import Themes and Designs, and export Designs.
