LISE : File Uploader - possible bug with 2.x?

I'm not sure if this is by design or a potential issue, but it might be worth noting that deleting an item from a LISE list deletes associated files that have been uploaded/selected with the File Uploader Field Definition. This means that any items that potentially share files will become 'corrupted'.

On another note - is there anyway to remove an item from the File Uploader selection without deleting it from the system?

For example: If a person were to duplicate a list item, the entries for any File Uploader type also get copied over - but there's no visible way to remove or replace with blank those associations aside from deleting the file completely from the system.
