Limiting User Input : Dropdown Boxes?

Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to CMSMS development, so go easy on me!

I can't seem to find any documentation or questions about how to limit an editor's input via a combobox or an optionlist of items that will be used as content.

For example, if an editor were to create a new content page, I would like them to be able to only select North, East, South, or West from a dropdown list that will then be displayed/used on the site.

Is this possible?

I think CGContentUtil has those content types http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/cgcontentutils

There are other content modules as well.
