FEU Group Error 500

Post by oakst »

in FEU, when I try to add my user properties to group, I get an error 500. Below is system info, and debug info and attached the access logs info and a photo of myphpadmin's sql file for module_feusers_propdefn
Please let me know what I need to do to establish the group setting for FEU. I uninstalled self registration, in case this was the issue, but using self registration is my end goal.

I just tested this numerous times... and debugged the code. I have no issues with this code at all. I also checked the database tables on my end and there is no error there.

I looked at the code, and it should be impossible for that to happen. Unless it's a bug in that particular version of php or something.

Strange. What are your suggestions? Should I contact my server provider and ask them to check their php? They automatically update php for me. Do you know what I should tell them?
My cms was set up through softaculous and I have made no changes to the code structure provided.

If I manually added the required field to the database, do you think that would fix the problem?

Thank you for your follow up Calguy, you are my hero!

I have a message sent to my host, site5. I will let you know what they say. Meanwhile, I uninstalled and completely removed cgextensions, cmsmailer, cgsimplesmarty, frontendusers and self registration, then reloaded them one-by-one. Unfortunately that didn't fix the issue. I also tried to add the binary for {required} manually in the sql database and that didn't fix it either. :(

If anyone else has some suggestions, I am all ears! Thanks!

This was from my site5 people.

Hi Jennifer,
According to the debug information this does appear to be code related, however could you developer provide the details of their tests? Such as what version of php they are testing with currently?
Thanks,
Luke K.

By accident I came across the same error and informed calguy.

A fix will be released this weekend. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you Velden! I am curious about what could make it do that. I bet it is a curly bracket or something simple...lol!
