Tinymce unable to select internal page

Using Tinymce 3.1.2 in CMS 2.1.2

Tinymce set to advanced mode.

Linking to internal pages (cms_selflink): Fails to show any pages when entering characters in the required field thereby unable to find the page to link to.

Is there a setting I should be doing or a bug with Tinymce.

I get this intermittently.

Occasionally the page linker does not search & suggest pages that match the type letters - just no options offered - so can't be used.

I can't 100% be sure what causes this or what eventually clears it. But numerous clearing & resetting of JS and CSS Design + browser cache clearing seems to get there eventually.

I have now done some further testing and while in the Tinymce settings, edit profile mode and selecting 'Create content page link' this works fine all the relevant pages are shown, but using the editor from within a page there is nothing, no pages shown.

I cannot see anything in the template that would affect this or any settings.

I hope this observation will help someone find the answer to the problem.

I'd advice to open the browser's web inspector/console and check for errors there (e.g. during the ajax requests for finding matching page names).

I'm having the same problem. Has anyone come up with a solution for this?

I had some bugs in custom code. When I worked through and cleared all of them, the TinyMCE linker works perfectly.

Suggest checking through error logs and/or uninstalling then reinstalling modules/plugins and clearing any issues found.
