Problem with Name field in Content Listing

In Content > Content Manager, the default name of the first field is "Menu Text" and it display the Menu Text value.

If I go into Site Admin > Settings - Content Manager and update the value in the "Content Field to Display in Name Column" to "Title", there is still no change to the Content Manager listing which continues to show the Menu Text instead of Title. In fact there does not seem to be a way to show the Title value in the listing.

And yes I do have the "Name" column enabled in "Visible Columns".

So is this a bug or am I missing something basic? I am on v2.1.1

Hmmmm I have just replicated this behaviour with a 2.1.2 site. Bug maybe? Tried clearing cache and then logging out/in again but no difference.

I tried searching for "Menu text" on the forum to see if anyone else has mentioned this but search is not working at the moment, looks like the forum itself is being updated. (I see "No posts were found because the word menu is not contained in any post.")

Also seen here in 2.1.2. Looking at the code didn't help much -- there's what looks like a "$this->ProcessTEmplate" typo in modules/CMSContentManager/action.ajax_get_content.php but I don't think it comes into play here.
