PHP version- disparity between server info. & CMSMS info

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

PHP version- disparity between server info. & CMSMS info

Post by burlington »

Clean install of Version 1.12. Server information states that PHP version is 5.5.31. CMSMS install program system info. in 'Required settings' says it is 5.2.17.

Attempted installs 'hang' on 'Installing modules'. Trying to go in to 'admin' after waiting some time for module installs, gets the standard message:

'Oops!
Sorry, it looks like something went wrong and an error has occurred.
Don’t worry, it can happen to any of us'

Where do I go from here please? Thanks.

Martin

Server info. from the server itself, is:
cPanel Version 54.0 (build 17)
Theme paper_lantern

Architecture x86_64
Operating System linux
Shared IP Address 195.238.172.2
Path to Sendmail /usr/sbin/sendmail
Path to Perl /usr/bin/perl

Kernel Version 2.6.32-604.30.3.lve1.3.63.el6.x86_64

SOLVED:

The problem was with the host. Once they had sorted out the PHP version actually running on the server, everything was OK.
Sorry to bother you all.
