Form Builder problem

Post by jalasju »

Hi,

I can't seem to get it right... Now the new CMSMS version has come out and I don't know if that makes this harder. But anyway...

The page, that has the form in the bottom:
http://www.samipaavola.fi/

CMSMailer: Sends the test message just fine
General settings/Mail settings: Sends the test message just fine

But when I try to use the Form builder form, with the exactly same sender address, it doesn't do anything. Is there more information I could provide to help someone help me on this issue?

What 'disposition' field are you using? (the one that is setup to send the email).

I'm using the sample "Contact" form so I suppose in english it's "Send the answer to configured email addresses" or something like that as a translation from finnish.

Did you 'set' the email address it is supposed to go to..?

The default Contact form is set up to send the form to the formbuilder developer as an example, if you don't reset it...

Yes, I set the "Sender address to email" to my clients address I tested successfully previously with CMSMailer and so on...

There is only one receivers address and it's mine.

A possibility: Some hosts won't send email if the from address is set to a different domain to that of the website that is being hosted. Might be that?

Thanks for your reply. But the tests (CMS Mailer and the System mailer) went through fine, so it's really weird, that it doesn't seem to work on the actual module Form Builder.
