Hello,
I just installed CMSMS Vers.0.13 on a south african Hetzner webspace. Don't know the php and mysql version. During installation (what went fine) and after clicking 'here is your side' at the end of the installation I got several lines like this:
Warning: main(../cms//usr/www/users/mbokod/test/cms/lib/contenttypes/Content.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/www/users/mbokod/test/cms/include.php on line 151
and another
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /usr/www/users/mbokod/test/cms/lib/content.functions.php on line 483
see the whole mess here: http://mbokodo.co.za/test/cms/
Have I made something wrong, or is the hoster not able to run cmsms? Or is just the path in this line 151 wrong?
Please ... Help ... Help ... *winywinywiny*

Re: Error messages after installation
Check and make sure that you uploaded all the files in /lib/contenttypes/. It looks like they don't exists on your server.okulyth wrote: Hello,

Re: Error messages after installation
Thank you for helping me.
I checked the folder online, all the files that are requested in that folder are in there. I had another Idea: Is it possible that the trouble comes from the /usr/www/users/mbokod/... type of path I have to use to access the webspace, because it says in that line:
../cms//usr/www/users/mbokod/test/cms/lib/contenttypes/Content.inc.php
Thats not a propper url, or? It looks like a mix of relative and static url, relative in the beginning until the double slash, and static behind the double slash. Or am I wrong?
Meanwhile, her comes my config.php:

Re: Error messages after installation
Looking at: http://mbokodo.co.za/test/ it looks like you got it working.
Mind sharing what you did that fixed your problem so that we could add it to the Documentation Wiki?

Re: Error messages after installation
Yes, but maybe its not so satisfying for the other users, because I just deleted all the kak on the server and reinstalled it without the /cms folder directly into the /test folder. And since then it works!!!
So thank you for all your brainwork to help me, even if the problem is now solved the rough way.

Re: Error messages after installation
Hmm.. Maybe CMSMS has problems if it is installed two levels deep in folders. I'll try installing it like that to see if I can reproduce the problem and hopefully fix it if I'm able to reproduce it.okulyth wrote: Yes, but maybe its not so satisfying for the other users, because I just deleted all the kak on the server and reinstalled it without the /cms folder directly into the /test folder. Edit: I installed CMSMS in a folder like cmsms/test/cmsmadesimple1b3/ and it worked fine, so I'm guessing you may have been missing some other files when you had it installed in the test/cms folder.
