I have searched to find a definitive answer for this question to no avail.
In the installation documents it states:
"After successful completion of the installation assistant, you should, using either the command line or your web hosts file manager, delete the installation assistant .php file and the README text file from your server."
At the end of the installation of v2.x the instructions state the following:
"For security reasons it is important that you remove the installation assistant from your browseable website as soon as you have verified that the operation has succeeded."
I am sure this is evident to many, however this is my first v2.x install and I would hope to gain a little clarity.
Is the referenced install assistant the entire file that I created, uploaded to and installed from? or is it component(s) or file(s) in that file?
Thank you
***In looking at the logic I am making the assumption that, although the documents say something about 2 items outside the installation assistant and the end installation instructions say only the installation assistant, it is the entire file that gets removed.

Re: Semi [Solved] Installation Assistant
It refers to the install.php file and the readme file. These are:
cmsms-2.1.1-install.php (version will vary)
README-PHAR.TXT
You will find them in the root of your website.
