Hi all
We have made the silly mistake of getting a potential developer to look at the back end before signing off on an agreement and within 24 hours we couldn't access the CMS other than with the temp login my wife gave him and then there were no modules available to view products etc only look at account settings - see attached image
We really want to figure out how to recover the admin modules and get on with business.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
Admin Modules Have disappeared
Re: Admin Modules Have disappeared
Looks like the account you are logging in with has no permissions.
If you can't login or reset the main Administrator login with the "Forgot Password", then you will probably have to login to the DB and modify the users table to regain to the main login.

Any chance you can point us in the right direction to be able to do that?
Login to the DB and modify the users table that is....

This is what is published in the docs: http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/troublesh ... d-recovery
I am cautious about giving any more instruction because if you don't know what you are doing and you can screw up the site completely.
I know you are probably wary of hiring someone because of your experience with this guy, but if this is above your skill set it might be wise to hire someone reputable(like a dev team member) who can quickly fix things.
