Checksum fails: no version.php

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Checksum fails: no version.php

Post by otopanne »

Hello,

Does not matter if it's a clean install or a upgrade, when you download the checksum (http://s3.amazonaws.com/cmsms/downloads ... ecksum.dat) and try to verify the installation, you get an error

Code: Select all

Warning: md5_file(.../version.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in ...\admin\checksum.php on line 69
It seems since 2.1 the version.php file has been removed.
During an upgrade from 2.0.1.1 this file gets deleted.

Actually it has been moved from the root... It is possible that the checksum doesn't reflect that for some reason...

moved, removed.. tomato, potato

It's not there anymore.

And it breaks the checksum verification.
