I it possible to create Parent & Child templates within Gallery. I just don't know how to call/include another Gallery template from within a Gallery template.
... now having actually written the question, I guess I could just use a GCB. So just interested to know if there is another solution.
Note: for now still using 1.12.1 & Gallery 2.0.3

Not sure I understand the question. Could you give some more details on the use of it?

Sure - sorry I didn't first time.
I use numerous different galleries, that all really use the same core template using cycle2. Plus I have a bunch of variables at the start of the template that will turn on/off titles, comments, carousel. But the main template is basically the same.
I also will often update one of the 3 or 4 gallery templates with some improvements, and then not copy those improvements across all templates.
Having been reading about template inheritance and suddenly realised that I could make like much easier for myself by having one core template and then move the variables to 4 other templates. I just couldn't find how to do this with smarty to retrieve a modules template.
If it's not easily possibly I'll just use a GCB.
