CMSMS 1.12. again problems with cms_printig

Using the latest version of cmsms - 1.12. underphp 5.6.x...
it seems that the cms_printing tag ...

{print showbutton='false' popup='true' script='true' class='printbutton noprint'}

...again delivers a blank page. This topic was discussed for years and solved several years ago. The url_fopen is set to on.
I tried several templates. All deliver the same blak page.
Other pages running on this server with same php settings an former cmsms version print properly.
