Decimal Quantity in Cart2?

Does anyone have any experience getting decimal quantities to work in Cart2.

The issue has arisen for a carpet company that wants to supply carpet lengths in sub-meter lengths, e.g. 4.2m (quantity field)

It looks like Cart2 does support decimals, if the decimal is entered on the MyCart Form it is retained. But when a decimal is entered into the AddToCart form it is truncated back to an integer.
