Form sending problem

Post by jalasju »

Hi!

I have installed CMSMS and it works fine... Apart from forms. I have configured the CMSMailer Module and it successfully sent the test message to my email. Now I'm trying to send a form to the same email and nothing happens... I have even tried to copy a working form from another CMSMS installation, but nothing happens.

Can someone please help me to the right direction? Thanks in advance! :)

Often this is caused by a mail server not allowing relay of email from unknow addresses.

So make sure for test to fill in a FROM address (while filling in the form too!) that actually is an existing address on that web-server/domain.

Seems to be good practice to only use a user supplied email address for 'reply-to' and use domain owned email address for 'from'.

Thanks for the tips...
I have the correct email-address (the same one that works in the CMSMailer settings) in the form tool on the send input, but still nothing. I also tried to give a real email address in the frontend on testing the form - nothing. I wonder what to try next...

Use the same address as you use as FROM address in CMS Mailer for testing purposes.

I'd be glad to post them, but what information do you mean?
