Modules page is gone, help please

Post by piritta »

Hi,

My modules page is gone (extensions -> modules), I can only see a blank page. Can someone please help me?

The Module Manager shows the following error message; SOAP Problem (http://modules.cmsmadesimple.org/soap.p ... Repository): HTTP Error: Unsupported HTTP response status 404 Not Found (nu_soapclient->response has contents of the response)

I tried to install the HitCounter from forge (http://s3.amazonaws.com/cmsms/downloads ... er-2.0.xml) but I couldn't download the xml file (probably because there wasn't a file to download?) I saved the page and thought I would try to upload that one (what could possibly go wrong, I mean at worst it just wouldn't accept the file, right (?) just a remarkably stupid idea in hindsight that one). Anyhow, the entire moduls page is gone and the admin console now looks like something from the stone age. How can I fix this??

I'm using CMS made simple 1.9.3 "Motu Tane" running on Windows 7.

Should I try this; http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... =3&t=70344

I would be very grateful for any help in this matter. Thank you in advance.

Kindly,
Piritta

You're running a version of CMSMS that's way to old to get support.

Have a look in the /modules directory to see if there's a new directory that could be causing problems. If found, rename the directory

Clear the cmsms cache by deleting all files in both the cache folder in /tmp

Hi,

Thank you. The problem is that there is nothing on the modules directory. It's a white paper with no info. This meaning that I can't even access the page. Is there any way of resetting the directory for modules back to what it was a few days ago?

Kindly,
