I can not get CGExtentions to install no mater what I try.
I have CMSMS 1.11.13 with CGExtentions 1.45 running on a my server (Strato), in two different folders for two domains.
I installed 1.12 and CGExtentions 1.46 in a new directory on the same server and set up a new Data bank to work on a new version of the website using a new temp domain name.
I tried the normal way with Module manager. It all crashed. Reinstalled CMSMS and over wrote the data bank. Cleared the cash, loaded down the xml file, upload then install. Same result.
No other extra moduls were installed.
Tried it on my 1 und 1 server worked perfectly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Went back to Strato installed 1.11.13 and got all green ticks so no problems detected. Installed CGExtentions 1.45 from an xml file and crash . Nothing.
Then deleated everything in that folder again.
Copied my working installation from the old website except for the config and htaccess to the new directory. Loaded up a config.php to point it to my new databank. Thought it had worked but then no CGExtentions. Clicked install and yes crash??????????
Used Filezilla to move things.
Why will it work on 1 und1 and in two directories on my Strato server, but not in the 3rd directory?
All directories are in the root and have the latest PHP version, 5.5 I think.
I am now out of ideas.
If any one has an idea I would be very grateful.

Re: CGExtentions crashes on installation
Hi thanks
I meant the exact version of PHP.
It is the same for all the folders on the Strato server. I am was just having a problem finding exactly which version of PHP is set. I have found it now and it is 5.5 for the whole server.
All the folders are in the root.

Got it thanks there was an SQL problem according to the error log.
Completly deleated everything in the Data bank and started again instead of overwriting. It seems to work now
