Problem with calender after uploading site to server

Post by Kaylen »

I first designed my site locally and everything worked like a charm, but nowi have uploaded all the files to the server and imported a db copy of my local db and I am having problems with some things that don't seem to work any more. One of them is the Kalender...
The module is installed succesfully but the Kalender is not displaying itself...

Any idea as to what this could be?

I have tried uninstalling and installing the kalender and replacing the tags for kalender on my pages but it doesnot help..

thnx! Barbera

Well, after leaving a similar message on the actual Kalender forum in the forge and noticing that there hasn't been a reply to this topic since originally posted a month and 12 days ago, am I right in assuming there's no solution to this and there is no one available anymore for advice?

first thing would be clearing the cache.

does it give any output? errors? or just empty space where its supposed to be?

Nothing. Just an empty space... though I wouldn't even call it a space. It doesn't put in extra space, just doesn't display at all.

I cleared the cache. That didn't make a difference.

check the calendar database, does it have all necessary tables (most likely named cms_module_calendar_something) and does those tables have data?

If you did full copy of all files and full db dump / restore I cant really think about any other error, than some php function missing at the new server installation (or maybe some safemode restriction).

Can you do a new installation in test folder and try installing calendar into it?
