Hi,
i am a long time user of CMSMS but I always used Cataloger for hierarchy of products/items, which had custom fields like price, some pictures, extra parameters etc.
Which would be best replacement for Cataloger since this one is not updated a long time?
I have tried a news module, but it is not so good for SEO.
I just want a simple hierarchy with custom fields.
Replacement for Cataloger
Re: Replacement for Cataloger
Cataloger is still under active development. There are some decisions to be made but there should be a release for the CMSMS 2.0 branch soon.

Re: Replacement for Cataloger
Thank you for your fast replay.
I would need some recommendation since I am building a new site for a customer this week, I just need a very simple hierarchy module to display "apartments", "houses", "flats",... and that there would be custom fields with prices, flat size etc.
I looked for Products module, but I would love something more simple. Cataloger is ideal for this but crumbles when there is more than 500 items inside.

Re: Replacement for Cataloger
I was just about to suggest Products....until I read your last sentence. It sounds ideal for your needs. What do you not find simple about it? We may be able to help.

Re: Replacement for Cataloger
Ho, sorry for no reply for a long time. I managed to use Products module after all. And it is really simple
And fast. 360 entries and load time around 1-2seconds. Acceptable.
