Hi Everyone!
I am trying to install CMS made easy on a website I ordered from Yahoo's webhosting service. I loaded CSM Made Easy onto my Yahoo website, and can't get past step three. I keep getting the message: Could not connect to database. Verify that username and password are correct, and that the user has access to the given database.
I followed the CMS instructions and created the following in MySql: create database cms; (use whatever name you want here but make sure to remember it, you'll need to enter it on this page) then grant all privileges on cms.* to cms_user@localhost identified by 'cms_pass';
This is how I answered the following questions for step three
Database Type: MySQL (3 and 4.0)
Database host address mysql (Yahoo told me to use this)
Database name cms
Username I tried my used name and the user name CMS told me to set up
Password I tried mine and the one that CMS told me to use
Table prefix left blank
Create Tables (Warning: Deletes existing data) left checked
Install sample content and templates left checked
Any help would be greatly apprecatied!
Thanks,
Mark

Re: Installing CSM made easy on Yahoo's webhosting service, stuck on step 3
Data base host address needs to be something.something.TLD, at least in mine, like.
34095.prformance.net
DB name needs to be specific, at least in mine.
dbu4953204
The user name came from my host.
dbou4953204
Password was supplied when I setup the DB.
WzX3DrtUV
All the above names have been changed to protect the innocent, when I set up the DB I was given this info.
