Can`t edit pages after upgrade to 1.11.13

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Can`t edit pages after upgrade to 1.11.13

Post by Trenia »

I have now removed cmsms latest version (1.11.13) and reinstalled 1.11.11 after having trouble with editing pages. It wasn`t possible to enter them, because on clicking a page to edit it, I kept being redirected to a subdomene url (?). Same thing happened when clicking to save changes in theme template. Very strange. A bug in 1.11.13? I did empty cache from admin after upgrading.

Anyone experienced or heard of this before? Could not find anything about it in bug tracker.

Thank you for posting such things!

Unfortunately I can not recall I have seen such bug reported before.

To test we need more details about the install to be able to reproduce this.

You could try to create a very basic new page template. Set that template default. Create a new page. And check if you can edit that new page afterwards, and the template.

Then you know it's something that's done inside the other page template(s). Like a UDT or specific module or ....

Vimeoplayer and Guestbook are both latest versions. Regarding the CGExtentions; I did try to upgrade to latest version before upgrading (several times), but got server connection timeout.

Vimeoplayer and Guestbook are both marked as stale. Also Guestbook doesn't work with cmsms 1.11.x

upgrade cgextensions by downloading the xml or zipfile.

Yes I know they are marked as stale. Vimeoplayer works nicely, but having a bit trouble with guestbook. I get email when someone writes in it, I can now however see that the post doesn`t show up inside admin...

I will attempt to upgrade CGExtentions again with your suggestion. Didn`t think about that. Thank you.

Got the newest CGExtentions installed now (uploaded the xml). I removed the Guestbook module and installed GBook instead. :) Have not tried upgrading to cmsms 1.11.13 again, but when I do I will let you know if the original problem with editing pages still is there.
