[SOLVED] Troubleshooting CMSMailer

Post by twwitt »

Hi --
Using 1.11.5...and have for years been using "mail" as mailer method without problems.

But suddenly my mail function is not working. I'm all of the sudden getting this message when I turn on debug.

Deprecated: preg_replace(): The /e modifier is deprecated, use preg_replace_callback instead in /homepages/11/d390977219/htdocs/lib/classes/class.admintheme.inc.php on line 660

Any ideas how to fix this?

What Admin Theme do you use? Try OneEleven.
Also please upgrade your CMS to latest, vulnerabilities have been found and fixed.

Changed to OneEleven. No effect.

Will upgrade to latest version.

But will this really all of the sudden change how CMSMail behaves?

It takes a change in the server environment, or on CMSMS configuration settings to break or make something. If you didn't change anything on CMSMS and you are sure no one with access to the configurations did, then there has to be a problem with the server environment.
The suggestion to upgrade as mainly to do with fixes to vulnerabilities and other minor issues, but valid for security sake.
I would suggest to try some support from the hosting company to make sure there haven't been any recent changes that would result in breaking CMSMailer.

P.S.: ALWAYS make a backup of files and db before upgrading.

Thanks for the replies. I called the host and it does seem to be an issue on their end which they're trying to resolve (1and1.com).
