[SOLVED] FormBuilder 0.8 and ListItExtended

Post by reinhardmohr »

Hi,
I hope someone can help me, thanks. I have just updated an installation of CMSms from 1.11.11 to 1.11.12 and also FormBuilder from 0.7.3 to 0.8.1.1.
I am also using ListIt2 1.4.1 – thanks for making and maintaining all these good modules!
Now I noticed that FormBuilder 0.8 no longer provides a field "store results for listextended". Does this mean I can not use FormBuilder any more to have my user input data into my listit module instances? Or am I just not seeing something?
I researched this on the forum (but search function was possibly not working at all or not working properly). So I could not really find an answer to this question.
After doing some more research I found a blog on i-do-this.com providing a user defined tag. And additionally a module ListIt2FEEdit.

Could someone help me: Do I now have to build a new workflow for my website to provide my customers some means of entering data into their ListIt2 instances?
Or is there already a forum thread that can help me further?

Thanks for any information or hint!

Reinhard

What Formbuilder version did provide "store results for listextended"? 0.7.4 perhaps...

Hi, Rolf,
thanks for helping.
You are right: The site where FormBuilder and ListIt2 work together indeed has FormBuilder 0.7.4 installed!
The site I had just updated had 0.7.3 installed. And when I checked FormBuilder 0.8.1.1 there there was no field to store data for ListIt2.
I didn't update the second site yet as I had build the FormBuilder-to-ListIt2-workflow there. And I didn't want to break this workflow without some kind of replacement.

Thanks

Reinhard

Hi, thanks everybody for helping – now I am sure how to proceed: I will try ListIt2FEEdit and will try to set up all my required forms with it.
Thanks

The 0.7.4 release of FormBuilder was removed from the Forge because it was very unstable...
The new team of FB developers started with the code base of the 0.7.3 release to get a stable release again. Therefore it might be some features in 0.7.4 are not present anymore in FB 0.8+.
We worked down the long list of Bug Reports and most of them are fixed. Now working on the last BRs and adding new features, etc. getting the module more user friendly.
