Help with {content}

Good day to all.

I have a question I hope someone can help me with.

I have a 3-coloumn layout.

I made {content block='coloumn1'}, {content block='coloumn2'} and so on.

Now, on top of these 3 blocks, I want to publish an image.
Image is a fixed size and in a fixed position, so therefore I want the Editor to be able to
a) upload a image with a selector, or
b) select a pre-uploaded image within a folder.
Whichever is most easy.

Can someone point me in the direction where I can find any documentation for this (Content-block types or what the name is..)
