Hello Everyone,
I've been using FEU without any issues on a client's website. Now after a module upgrade the "Users, User History and Admin" tab are showing no content on it. On the groups tab I see the members are still there, but they're not showing up.
I'm using:
CMSMS 1.11.11
FEU 1.25.1
PHP 5.4.34
Does anyone knows what could be the problem? I saw the Calguy's post about modules requiring PHP 5.4 so I assume that shouldn't be the issue here.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Yes, I cleared the cache as I do every time I update a module but nothingpaulbaker wrote:Did you clear CMSMS cache?

That's hardly enough info for us to be able to help. You should post:mr.bacan wrote: Now after a module upgrade the "Users, User History and Admin" tab are showing no content on it. On the groups tab I see the members are still there, but they're not showing up.

- System info;
- last few lines of PHP error logs if possible;
- any further information that may be pertinent, such as upgraded modules, from which version to which version, etc...
From your post one can infer that it may be a PHP error, and if so, emphasis on the PHP error log is advised, as it's the best way to pinpoint the error, if it exists...

You are right Jo Morg, sorry for that, I assumed someone could had the same issue as I and could easily point me to the right direction.Jo Morg wrote:That's hardly enough info for us to be able to help. You should post:

This are the errors related to the FEU Module, don't know if they make any sense...
My system info is:PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home7/endondev/public_html/congresonacionaldecontadorespanama/modules/FrontEndUsers/FrontEndUsers.module.php on line 323

I upgraded FEU from 1.24.2 to 1.25.1
Hope that's info enough.
Thanks in advance for your time.

I suspect that something went wrong with the upgrade... how was it made? Uploaded through ftp? XML? Via Module Manager?
That error is rather weird if not in one of these contexts:
a) old PHP version which apparently is not the case;
b) bug in the Module, which I'm putting aside for the moment as you are, so far, the only one reporting this, and this is the sort of bug that would have made a major impact on a lot of sites, not just yours;
c) corrupted files (most likely during upload), which is what I am betting on for now;
Please paste full system info as found on CMSMS admin panel. That will probably help more.

Re: FEU Not Working After Upgrade
Is it possible to downgrade the module without affecting the data compatibility?
Re: FEU Not Working After Upgrade
If you don't have a full backup (files and DB) no.mr.bacan wrote:Is it possible to downgrade the module without affecting the data compatibility?
And you never got to answer this question, which is important:
In any case I recommend that you upload the archives directly to the server via some file manager like the one provided in CPanel, or Plesk, etc and expand them there. You should try this for all the modules that needed the upgrade. It makes sure that all the files are overwritten and not corrupted.Jo Morg wrote:I suspect that something went wrong with the upgrade... how was it made? Uploaded through ftp? XML? If you still have the same error, then we'll have to take a look somewhere else...

[SOLVED] FEU Not Working After Upgrade
Thanks so much Jo Morg for your valuable time. You were right, apparently the module had an error when upgrading. I did the upgrade via Module Manager the first time. After that I tried uploading an XML via the Module Manager as well. Finally I tried what you suggested, and downloaded the compressed version and expanded it via cPanel overwriting every file and boom, this time it worked perfectly.Jo Morg wrote:In any case I recommend that you upload the archives directly to the server via some file manager like the one provided in CPanel, or Plesk, etc and expand them there. Thanks once again.
