Hello,
Due to a terrible accident, my index.php was recently deleted.. What can I do to restore my website?
Can I recreate the index.php somehow? Or maybe edit a fresh one to make my site work again?
Please, any help would be so much appreciated.

restore from backup.... that's why you're supposed to have backups.

No backup.. Not working in an ideal environment, and it's not something I have control over.
I fixed the issue by downloading the installation package of the version of CMSms I have running and pulling the index.php file out. Uploaded it to the server, and my site is back.
