Hello everyone,
Just a quick question. Is it possible to add events to CG Calendar for registered members only? I have the calendar on a protected page so it can only be seen if members are logged in. However, if you click on an event directly you can read all the details, no matter whether you are logged in or not (so basically someone could forward the URL to a non-member who could then read all the details). Is there any way that can be changed? It seems there is no "private" category or something like that in CG Calendar. Many thanks in advance for any hints.
H
CG Calendar - Private entries
Re: CG Calendar - Private entries
Set the event detail page correctly so it uses a page that is also protected.
Do that in the Settings or via a tag parameter.

Re: CG Calendar - Private entries
Thanks for your reply and sorry for the slow response.
So, just to confirm - if I select a protected page under "default event view page" in the settings it should work. That's what I have done but it still does not protect the individual event pages. Are there any other options?
Many thanks.

Re: CG Calendar - Private entries
That's how it works for me.
The only difference is that I'm using the Custom Content module to protect the page instead of the Protected Page content type.
So, in the template, there is logic that checks if the person is logged in and what group they belong to. If not logged in, redirected to a login page...

You might need to check your Frontend Users settings to make sure you have protected pages settings correct.

Re: CG Calendar - Private entries
Thank you, thank you! The custom content module fixed this issue! Just one final question. Is there any way that members can be returned to the original page they were looking for after they logged in?
Re: CG Calendar - Private entries
There are some FEU parameters that may help. I can't remember them atm, but, it is something like redirect_to="" -- there are two different ones to look for under the module help.
