Does anyone know how to get the CG Calendar module to show a wysiwyg display as one makes changes to it?

The latest version shows a monthly layout and places saved events accordingly. You won't get a properly wysiwyg version (as in looking like your live site) - just refresh your live site as you make changes.

Do you know of a way to get the month-long events, such as say "National Pottery Month", to appear at the top of the calendar without cluttering up every single day?

No, I have never had to deal with events that long so haven't had that issue.

They show up real pretty in the sample, but mess up the final display.
