Listit2 - SQL imported data not appearing in search

Post by rbaby »

Hello,

I SQL imported a list of items and field definitions directly into the DB but for some reason, when I do a search--none of these items come up. I've cleared cache and repaired tables where I can...appears fine in the back-end but is not searchable in the front-end.

Is there a way I can force the index? Or is there something I need to do to make the new items indexable? If I select an item and save it--it makes it appear on the front-end search so I know the module is doing something...I just don't know what.

Any guidance would be helpful.

Thanks!

Have a look at the search module. You can initiate a re-index there.

As velden says - but it's slightly hidden away:

Exensions -> Search -> Options tab -> Button at bottom.

Thanks for the help guys, the reindex worked mostly--except it only works on the primary field name. It doesn't seem to search Field Definition entries :(
