[SOLVED] Module Manager does not work- SOAP problem

I had not installed any new modules for some time, and when I went to look for a new module to install I find the module manager is no longer working. Under the available upgrades and available modules and preferences tabs it says

SOAP Problem (http://modules.cmsmadesimple.org/soap.php?module=ModuleRepository): Response not of type text/xml

Under "settings" it says in the box

http://modules.cmsmadesimple.org/soap.php?module=ModuleRepository

and beneath the box is written

The URL should be in the form http://www.mycmssite.com/path/soap.php?module=ModuleRepository

I have CMS version 1.9.4.2 and module Manager version 1.4.2

What is a soap problem and what should I do to fix this problem?

Error occurs because your cmsms is too old and also is no longer supported, http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... 40&t=30336. Upgrading to the newest version will solve this problem.
