Upgrading “module interfaced applications” such as PunBB

PunBBInfo plugin
Please find attached the first beta of the PunBBInfo plugin (function.PunBBInfo.php) which allows you to display stuff from your PunBB forum on your CMS website, including RSS feeds. It assumes you have already installed the PunBB CMS Module:

As ususal download the file and rename it to .php and copy it to your plugin directory. As it's a beta I would appreciate some feedback I've also included some sample CSS.

Hey, thanks for the plugin. But sorry I am an idiot.. how do you get it to work? I have punbb installed but.. I get this error when I try to display the latests posts.. I put the plugins in the plugins folder in /modules/PunBB/plugins/

Fatal error: Smarty error: [in template:15 line 27]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'PunBBInfo' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 580) in /home/fp/public_html/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

and where is the CSS file meant to go?

Hi parisja, a simple enough mistake to make, but the PunBBInfo plugin is for CMS and therefore goes in the CMS plugin directory, not the PunBB plugin directory. It should all work fine then.

No parisja, you're not an idiot If anybody it is me, for not making it more clear... anyway glad to hear you are working. I, for one, cannot wait  for the next version of PunBB with clean urls' so it can be properly integrated!
