Increase length of posts?

I knew there used to be a topic explaining this but I googled, I searched I couldn't find it.

Set up a new installation for a different purpose and now I need to expand how much content fits on one single page and I can't find how to do it.

I think it was a setting in the database allowing to double or quadruple the character's allowed before it automatically cuts off?

Here is the http://forbidden-fruits.org/index.php?page=day-1 of the page to show how it cuts off at the end.

I remember it used to be pretty simple but I don't know enough on my own how to fix it but the instructions were easy enough. Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about and can explain it again?
