[solved] Can't change global settings after installation

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] Can't change global settings after installation

Post by romancho »

When I try to change anything in new-installed cms made simple 1.11.11 global settings page I recieve 403 error.

Permissions for /uploads, /modules and /tmp and internal folders are ok - 777.

What's the problem?

First (wild) guess: mod_security

Ask your hosting provider if they use mod_security for your website and if so ask them to disable it or at least make it less restrictive.

Web server error log could/should give you more info.
