TouchInlineEdit (InlineEdit) website showing error
I wanted to have inline edit facility for my website from front end and only for admin as this is only a simple company website.
I searched TouchInlineEdit (InlineEdit) from module search facility in admin panel and installed it, now after installation the website is showing internal server error and not working, but working fine in other browser where I am not logged in, but not working if I am logged in as admin.
Can some body help me about using this in my website? This would be a great help.

Re: TouchInlineEdit (InlineEdit) website showing error
It seems this module doesn't work anymore since April 2013.This project is marked as stale. This means that it may work fine, but it has no file releases or repository commits in over a year. Use your own discretion when using this project.

Some considerations on why you should avoid using inline edit: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... =2&t=63906

Re: TouchInlineEdit (InlineEdit) website showing error
Thanks for the reply, I have seen those posts before posting here and I was unable to decide, so I chose to ask here if there is some solution. I do not have much idea about this because I am new to this platform as I have used these things in Drupal and WordPress so a guideline was needed.
Re: TouchInlineEdit (InlineEdit) website showing error
A module such as this, makes heavy use of the CMSMS Core API, which is constantly evolving, which, in turn, requires that the module itself is being actively developed/updated. That doesn't seems to be the case with TouchInlineEdit (InlineEdit). If you still think you need it, you can always try to contact the developer, and see if he can update the module...

Re: TouchInlineEdit (InlineEdit) website showing error
Instead of trying to do inline editing of page content, get really good about setting up Admin groups, permissions, and content page editors.
An another alternative is using CGBlog's frontend article submit and editing if you only have one or two pages that really need frontend editing.

Re: TouchInlineEdit (InlineEdit) website showing error
I have 30-40 pages, which my client will like to edit and I wanted to give him something new for him and easy to manage his content on website.
Can you help me with the URL to download and how to use this?

CGBlog is available in the Development Forge and via your Module Manager in the Admin of your CMSMS site.singhabhishek251 wrote:I have 30-40 pages, which my client will like to edit and I wanted to give him something new for him and easy to manage his content on website.

The CMS provides an excellent way to manage your pages via the Admin and you can limit what access is available to your client.
