ListIt2 v1.2.2 to v1.4.1

Hello,

I'm working through an upgrade from CMSMS v1.10.1 to v1.11.10 I'd been putting off the upgrade as it's far from smooth. Anyway I've ironed out all the problems with the CMSMS upgrade itself and the other modules.

I'm stuck with ListIt2 it doesn't bring my data across from v1.2.2 to v1.4.1 it upgrades without error but brings no data.

From memory in the old version you had to "copy" the module to rename it. Maybe that is why it didn't upgrade.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if there are any short cuts to re-entering all the data. Essentially hundreds of entries.

There is some help text in the module's help on what steps to take when upgrading. Its in Extensions -> ListIt2 -> Upgrading tab.

It describes a two step upgrade.

Read it well, it could help.

AFAIK there is considerable change from 1.2.2 to 1.4.1

I would not go directly, but

make backup!
1.2.2 -> 1.3.2
make backup!
1.3.2 -> 1.4.1

I had just written a lengthy post explaining what to do if it does not work, since I went through the whole process. But it is REALLY complicated, so I gave up explaining it.

My advice is to ask Stikki if he will do it for you (paid job). This may save you countless hours.
