Calendar upgrade makes pasts events management even harder

I upgraded to latest calendar module hoping it would restore the ability to find and manage old events easier but it's made it even harder.

The module works pretty good in all other aspects and I appreciate your work on this module however the new calendar grid seems superfluous and I now have to scroll back through each month to find events or use the new search method which works but is very clunky.

It would be nice if you could restore the simple show all list view or perhaps a simple list view, show all toggle. It worked well and made event management much easier.

You're not the only one. And, as great as the month-by-month design is, it would be great to have the option of showing all.
