CMSMS Crash?
I tried to run the backup module from dev.cmsmadesimple.org last night and now my web site (www.thebradleygrp.com) won't come up at all. The admin section still comes up just fine (and all of the content is still there) but the outward-facing web site doesn't appear. I've asked my web host to re-start the application but I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks.

Re: CMSMS Crash?
I ran the backup module and now nothing will show up on thebradleygrp.com. When you view the rendered source code this is all you see:
I've tried re-uploading the index.php file (which appears to be fine) but still nothing shows up. Also, when I try to Preview content pages within the ADMIN system, the content shows up in the WYSIWYG editor but nothing shows up in the preview pane.
If I were to simply re-upload all of the files (basically do a complete re-install) would that work?
Thanks so much for the help.

Re: CMSMS Crash?
how far have you gone into changing the default?
if you haven't gone into changing a lot you could just reinstall, but if you have made a lot of templates, new CSS, added a lot of content, News articles, added modules. etc. i would copy/paste every thing/change into .txt files for a rough backup and try and use the backup i made and see if it got me back to the point i was before, other wise with the rough/text files i could reinstall and re copy/paste them all back to the state i was in before...

You will of course have tried clearing out the cache in Admin? Check you're not still set to display a 'Web Site Down notice' - with no notice. Try clearing the cache manually?

Re: CMSMS Crash?
The site was basically done so I'll have to back-up to .txt files, which isn't that big of a deal--the site wasn't that large.
I have cleared all of my chache and tried loading the site from three different PCs, all with the safe result.
I'll let you know how things go.

I had to completely re-install the application from scratch but it wasn't that bad. Thanks for all of the help.
