I have unzipped and FTP'd the PiSearch module directory into the modules directory. But it doesn't show in Extensions -> Modules ?
I can see it is there and complete in my FTP client, so what do I need to do to get it to show so I can 'install' it?
I have just started with CMSMS, so have uploaded the latest build 0.13. The installation was a breeze. A complete rebuild of an existing website in around 3 hours (and that included installation, reading the documentation and rebuilding the site itself).
The only snag has been how to install a module.
TIA

Re: How do you install a module?
sure you have a module and not a tag... the PiSearch comes in to flavors, one a module, which when you open the zipped package it has a folder with a lot of stuff in it, the other, tag, is just one .PHP file that you need to upload to the plugins folder...

Re: How do you install a module?
There are some general instructions for install modules here: http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... ns/Modulesaccountzcom wrote: The only snag has been how to install a module.
Make sure you name the folder with the pisearch module files in it: "pisearch".
Note: I don't have time to take on any more projects. I'm quite busy. I may be too busy to reply to emails or messages. Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks so much for helping me Mark and Elijah.
Elijah, as you say, the trick is ensuring the module is named pisearch. It auto unzips in a directory called pisearch103. Rename it and it appears. Magic.
