Some words in Forum Made Simple module post throw error

Post by garbo »

Hi,

A client is having an issue with the Forum Made Simple module on their illness support group site.

Users are unable to submit posts with the word 'Prednisone', it just redirects to the error page if this word is in the post. Once the word is removed the post submits successfully.

I'm presuming it's some sort of spam catcher but I can't find any config for it. Anyone got any ideas on what the problem might be?

Thanks,

Gareth.

Not sure but http://akismet.com/ maybe?
Forum Made Simple is a very old module and has been discontinued, so you shouldn't expect much support to it. AFAIK it has akismet support, but I think it's a global setting: either on or off.

Thanks Jo,

I don't have the akismet plugin installed, I'll try and hook it up though, maybe this could override the existing settings.

Cheers,

Gareth.

What exactly is the error page? Forum made simple error page? General CMSMS error page? Browser error page? Host error page? Screen shot would help if you're unsure where error is being generated.
