Sorry to beat this topic like a dead horse, but . . .
I just completed a shadow effect on my page with the help of many of the wonderful posts on the subject previously. I used a background image with shadows on both ends for the page background to be placed in the pagewrapper area.
Now I'm wondering if there is a way to somehow split up that page_bg image into two and have them lay on both sides of the pagewrapper so that if you expand the browswer width, your pagewrapper will get bigger or smaller depending on how you move it - yet keeping the shadow intact as you do this?
Anyone have an idea?
Also, can someone tell me a quick and easy way to align the entire pagerwrapper to the left side so that my page isn't always centered in the middle of the browser? I couldn't seem to figure this out.

Re: more on shadow effects (and some alignment issues)
take out any style that has to do with the pagewrapper and your site will go left...
as far as dynamic width i would have to see the images...
they could be used like my mutibox layout, it will grow with the browser...

Thanks for the tip on alignment!
As for the image, right now i have this as the page_bg.gif image:

Though it's very thin, you may be able to see how it fades or shadows at both ends of it. I saw on your page how you had the right border repeat-x over and over. Is that the only way to get it to grow shrink? I'm just worried that the user will grow the browser and stop on the wrong part of the shadow which might look strange.
on the Joomla.org page they seemed to pull it off. . .not sure if that's applicable to CMSMS though:

Thanks!
