Search module finding part of word

Using CMSMS 1.11.7 with Search 1.7.8

Hello everybody!

I noticed that you can only use the search module by finding existing 'words' in the content. I would like that the search could also find part of a word.

For example "Flying" using only "Fly" to find the word in the content.

Is this possible with the search module? If not, what would you suggest?

Only option I know of is 'Use Word Stemming (English Only):' (Options tab of Search module).

There is no wildcard option available in current Search module.

You could consider adding a content block for extra 'metadata' containing the words you would like to be indexed. However, that would involve manually adding those words to every page (and maintaining it on content updates).
