Fault with products containing attributes

Hi

I have a site that's been live for a few weeks. It has just developed a fault in Products with additional Options and not with Products without Options.

I have NOT made any changes to Products or Cart2 templates nor any other modules.

Everything worked fine until about 2.00pm today (UK time).

The error page says...

Invalid compiled template for 'string: {strip}{$opt->text}: {$currency_symbol}{$price|number_format:2}{if $discount ne ''} ({$mod->Lang('yousave')} {$currency_symbol}{$discount|number_format:2}){/if}{/strip}'

I have tried reverting to the Sample Cart2 Template without change.

Working sites don't just magically break.

So either, you changed something, or your host changed something or encountering a silly error like out of disk/quota space or time limit exceeded which results in a partially compiled template, and therefore an error.

1. Check your error logs. Make sure they are enabled.
2. Isolate the problem to the specific area of code

It has started working again without any changes by me...!

There were no quota issues or such like.

My server host 1and1 have recently got very slow.

I'm in the process of migrating to another server.

Do you know of a Module that can back up and restore ALL files, Global Content Blocks, Modules etc etc.... ?
