[Solved] Re-order pictures

Post by NLatuny »

Hello,

I have this problem for some time now and I was hoping somebody could help.

I've installed the module "Gallery" version 1.6.1. and have placed some pictures within the gallery folder. Now at first (a few months ago) I was able to re-order the pictures to the order I liked. However when I wanted to change the order again (about 1 month ago and ever since) I'm not able to do it. I'm pretty sure I did not forget how to to it. I thought it was just a matter of drag & drop the pictures in the right order.

I've added a screenshot of some pictures I've placed in the gallery. Maybe it helps getting to the solution faster. Hope somebody could tell me what to do.

Many thanks in advance!

Nick

No, I don't. And I don't know why... as I was expecting it like before.

Almost sounds like a JS problem, do you have some kind of adblocker or something, what browser are you using...

more info == more help

No I do not use an ad blocker (or it is build-in with the browser?). I use Chrome Version 34.0.1847.116 m. But I also tried IE Vesion 11.0.9600.17041 and Firefox 12.0.

What is a JS problem?

A JS problem = javascript problem.

Looking closer at your screenshot I notice that the admin navigation on the left hasn't expanded correctly (ie - not showing pages within "Content" such as 'Pages', 'Image Manager' 'Global Content Blocks' etc). Is your admin page/navigation giving you problems as well? If they are, I'd definately look into a javascript issue. Have you tried using your browser "inspect element' feature to see any errors the page is generating?

Tested latest version of Gallery and it seems to work just fine.

Does exactly what it should do and is sortable. Like others said previously, if this is not case with you, then you have some kind of javascript collapse with some other module, or custom script of yours.

Sorting marker is so obvious that i don't think you missed that, or is this possible?

If it's a JavaScript issue, as others have pointed out, perhaps you could try using a different browser to the one you are currently using (or download a new one such as Firefox, Chrome or Opera) and test it.

I would also try a different Admin Theme.

Really thank you all. And like Sandaha said I do have issues with my admin page/navigation as well. Not working as it should. So I will try to look in to my javascript, but don't really know how to fix any such issue.

And as suggested, another admin theme was the answer :) Many thanks!
