[Solved] CGCalendar - time display format

Post by bobyelland »

Hi - I am using CMS 1.11.10 with CGCalendar 1.13.4 and have just taken over the website (so am new to CMS Made Simple). I am using CGCalendar to display a series of events - but they show the time format as HH:MM:SS following the date. How do I remove the seconds? I can't see any option to do this.

In Site admin > global setting > Date Format String:...

Not sure if that will effect the Calendar, if not you may have to edit the calendar template and change each instance of the time calls...

Additionally you can use the cms_date_format modifier on CGCalendar templates to alter the format of displayed dates. Check the help in CMSMS tags on how to use it.

Many thanks for the prompt reply - however changing the date format only seems to affect the "date" part and still appends the time in the original format to the end!

You also need to change the CGCalender template you use. Remove the hh:mm.
