Perhaps this isn't the best place to demonstrate how untalented I am but I'll do it anyway...
Are there any modules that you could recommend to improve our situation and how difficult a job would it be, if at all practical, to implement given that the collections of pages are already in place.
At the moment I'm considering drawing common data together on the parent page with internal page navigation via the use of named anchors when that content gets a bit long winded.
Although time consuming with all that cutting/pasting, three or more into one would create a much leaner collection. Does that make sense or am I barking up another wrong tree?
Thanks for your help by the way.
Cheers,
Eugene.

Pulling a lot of the content from lower level pages may be a good idea, I saw a lot of pages with only one line of content, maybe make those parents a link to the first child under it to cut down on pages...

Thanks for that advise Dr.CSS The virtually redundant pages are there because I couldn't see an obvious way of making a non-content menu item reveal a list of children on-click.
The idea of making a section header, add children convert header to link to first child clearly wasn't obvious enough for me :) (as found in one of your old posts, see some of us do use the search button).
Now there are so many in place just convert parent to link and hey presto!
Thank you so much.
Maybe now I can convince my pal to let me rework other areas of navigation. I was taught never be more than four clicks from anywhere. That rule gets busted all over this site.
All in the name of making the system more stable of course :)
